L3Harris Technologies
  • Contributed to the development of a cloud-hosted data visualization platform using Python, with Dash and Flask libraries, backed by a Cassandra database and deployed on AWS, enabling secure and scalable access to mission-critical insights
  • Developed Windows desktop GUI applications in C++ using MFC for native interface design and event-driven architecture
  • Spearheaded and managed a project within an Agile environment from initial conceptualization through development to successful internal release and delivery, achieving an 80% reduction in completion time
  • Managed the project’s SQL database and implemented new features on the user interface, thereby enhancing the overall user experience and a 30% increase functionality of the project

Relevant Skills

  • Developed and deployed web applications using Python Dash, Flask, and supporting libraries, integrated with a backend Cassandra database and hosted on AWS to support a distributed data visualization platform for the U.S. Government.

  • Much of my time at L3 has been spent building Desktop apps in C++ while maintaining an Oracle SQL database. It was during these projects that I was able to find room for improvement enough to show the mentioned 80% improvement.

  • As part of a recent initiative, I was assigned to a project with the goal of migrating some of our software to the cloud, where customers will be able to configure their own environments with custom data without worrying about the underlying infrastructure. This is built using mainly Python as the programming language, Docker for containerization, Cassandra for the database, and AWS for hosting.
